"American" Chip Spice was invented in Hull in the 70's. Go to any takeaway in Hull and, without having to ask, it is generously sprinkled on your fries. A super tasty blend of salt, paprika, and tomato, onion, garlic powder.

Rooted in Sunshine is a women's group held at Rooted in Hull every Thursday 10am-1pm. Women from all walks of life are welcome. We enjoy creating things, cuppas, chats, laughter, and a free lunch!

As we love Chip Spice so much, we made a giant tub! The sun, with it's warming sun/chip rays beaming down, represents our lovely group. We created pieces both individually and collectively, playing to our strengths using a combination of crochet, weaving, sewing, and lots of pom-poms. We used our artistic licence and hope you catch our drift. It may be a bit rough and ready, but it's full of love, and we hope this comes shining through. 🥰
